Watanabe? Useless.
Cranston? Useless.
Olsen? Useless.

I didn't end up giving a shit about any of them. The whole "let's put a nuke on a train" sequence was equally retarded.

I think you forgot to have fun. It's godzilla, not casablanca.

I had fun when Godzilla came out and started messing shit up. I didn't forget to have fun for the first half; there was no fun to be had.

Edit: Apparently, I'm not the only one that felt this way.

Well, plot was never a strong suit of Godzilla movies, and a lot of them didn't have much screen time of the actual monsters either. I felt the new one was a much better representation of what a Godzilla movie should be, as compared to the 1998 movie that was just trash all around. It's still not a good movie.

My dad got me a SUBscription to rolling stone for christmas. I didn't know how much I hated magazines before, but now I find myself actively doing things rolling stone doesn't like.

Conscription. Mike has been drafted by a Rolling Stone and must fulfill three years of service to them.

Proscription. He did you a favor by forbidding you to read Rolling Stone.

Same Kenny.

Tom Cruise has gotten so much better lately when he doesn't take himself user seriously. The movie looks like it'll be a good action / sci-fi with a dabbling of intelligence sprinkled in. Done right you can have an enjoyable movie. Done wrong and you get Elysium ;)

On a side note the new x-men movie is great. Love how they managed to bring back the old and the new without making it seem too hokey.

Snowpiercer was fucking awesome.

Good luck finding a screen playing it but there's always the br rip from Korea (still in english)

Most fun I've had with a sci-fi movie in a long time. Good balance of taking itself seriously and going a bit over the top at times. Reminds me a bit of equilibrium but better.
