Diablo 3 Stat Weights

Postby Mendenbarr on Mon Apr 14, 2014 2:13 am

I got sick of not knowing if crit hit damage or crit hit chance was more important on an item, so I made a basic stat weight calculator. It makes a lot of assumptions, like 100% of your damage being one element for the elemental weight, and the same for the skill weight, and also ignores synergies like APOC, but it's a good starting point. Haven't done any defensive stats yet, I may try them out later.

If you guys want to help me test it out, it's at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gSy_eSMOmLIti20Ilsd8h78ZEMtNWp9mziW9p6brbkg/edit?usp=sharing

Just duplicate the tab at the bottom called "Duplicate Me!", plug in the amount you have of each stat in column B (50 for 50% crit hit chance, for example), and the amount of the stat you want to see the value for in column J. Let me know what you think!

It appears someone on the reddit had the same idea that I had and put a lot more effort into it.
